The long awaited return of a Ship John vest has been bit of a rocky road for us. Not everything goes swimmingly... sometimes production just doesn't turn out exactly how you imagined it. This group of vests wound up being less than perfect going through production. But the good news is, since we're uber picky, they're still perfectly wearable. We've decided to make the best examples available at a discount from what they'd cost normally. 

The design is a play on the Ramblin Jacket... without sleeves. Perfectly placed hand pockets nestle between the chest and belly pocket. The waxed cotton / cordura outer shell is TOUGH. Lined with a dry cotton canvas and an inner welt pocket on the left side. 

A note on 'seconds': We don't let anything leave our shop that isn't a usable garment. These items are deemed seconds on account cosmetic flaws only. This means stitching mistakes, mis-aligned pockets, puckering in seams, fabric flaws, discoloration, etc. The structural integrity of these items is fully intact. Most of these flaws will be unnoticeable for day to day wear and will have no bearing on the usability of the product. We want these pieces to be used! Given the discounts applied to these items and low quantities, they are not returnable or exchangeable.

All measurements are in inches and taken when the garment is laying flat, unless specified otherwise.
