How can a pen get any cooler? 

Since a lot of us were kids we've seen little ads, heard stories, gawked through the case at the science museum and just plain out adored the idea of owning one of these pens... Of course, That Seinfeld episode as well. The Fisher space pen was developed to operate under extreme conditions... like outer friggin space where you don't have the luxury of gravity to pull your ink down and onto the page... If any of us winds up making it there someday. 

The beautiful simplicity of the "bullet" design leaves the pen small enough to hide in your pocket but, when flipped open, extends into a full size pen. 

The pressurized ink cartridge gives you the ability to write in wet, hot, greasy, upside-down, under water, and... even other worldly conditions. 

Fisher was kind enough to hear me out on the idea of making some Ship John versions of this pen to offer up to the world... They made them in un-coated solid brass and emblazoned with our SJ logo. This little pen will patina beautifully and stick by your side for as long as you need it to.
