If you've ever watched the Tour De France, you may have noticed a small bag handed to riders in certain stages of the race with refreshments to keep them rolling without stopping. The bag is light and not too special so they can just toss it aside after they're done snackin'... But what if it were a little more special?
I've been toying around with the idea of designing something that utilizes a full width of selvedge denim for the pattern. Just a rectangle from selvedge to selvedge. This here is our answer to the lightweight easy Musette tote cranked up a little with vegetable tanned leather straps and attachment. The hardware consists of solid brass rings and solid brass snaps. The straps attach a little lower than the main opening to act as a fold-down flap when things are in the bag. Sized just big enough to hold a handful of vinyl records for the stops in your favorite record shop.Â
